Lausanne, Switzerland
June 25-26, 2020
This event is organized by a team of young researchers from the University of Lausanne, composed of PhD students and postdoctoral fellows.
They collectively set out to run an international conference in Lausanne during the summer of 2020, with the values "sense of community", "eco-responsibility" and "equal opportunities" guiding their steps throughout the development, implementation and the progress of the event.
They seek to bring together the new generation of researchers and some renowned experts in the field during a small-sized, short, and free-of-charge meeting. By doing so, they aim at strengthening ties between modellers and emulating scientific discussions on a variety of topics.
Early-career researchers conducting PhDs or postdoctoral research are selected for presenting their projects in talks or posters, and four speakers are invited: Sébastien Lion, Damaris Zurell, Silvia De Monte and Elisa Thébault.
Further discussion among all participants is highly encouraged during the poster session and around discussion tables.
