As announced in December 2020, MRI Executive Director Dr. Carolina Adler is now editor of the MountainMedia section of the journal Mountain Research and Development (MRD). 

Carolina Adler takes over the reins from Professor Martin Price following his decision to step down after 27 years in the role. During his time at MRD, Martin Price solicited and edited nearly 500 reviews of mountain-relevant publications. Carolina Adler has led the MRI Coordination Office since 2017 and has a wide network among mountain scientists, not least through her work as a Lead Author of several chapters of the IPCC reports. She will be supported in her role as editor of MRD's MountainMedia section by MRI Scientific Project Officer Gabrielle Vance.
