The Adaptation at Altitude programme, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), seeks to support mountain communities and those working with them by improving the knowledge of appropriate climate change adaptation strategies in the mountains, and transferring that knowledge through science–policy platforms to inform decision-making in national, regional and global policy processes. One way they are doing this is through the development of an online Adaptation at Altitude (A@A) Knowledge Network, which aims to support and encourage communication and engagement between stakeholders working on climate change adaptation in mountains.
The first meeting of the Adaptation at Altitude Knowledge Network will take place online on 30 May 2023 at 13:00-14:00 BST (14:00-15:00 CEST). The meeting is open to all interested in climate change adaptation in mountains. This introductory meeting will explain the aims of the A@A Knowledge Network and provide a space to openly discuss what they, together, hope to achieve and work towards. Sign up to the meeting here.
