From Wednesday 27 at 13.30 pm to Thursday 28 September at 12 pm at UNIL Site de Sion, LORO room.

The aim of the workshop is to bring together and discuss the different disciplinary approaches to glaciers, their dynamics, and their influence on different aspects of society. The day of 27 September will be devoted to an interdisciplinary approach, with contributions from a range of researchers from different disciplines with an interest in glaciers. September 28 will be dedicated to transdisciplinary dialogue between researchers and practitioners, with the aim of developing a shared vision of the challenges facing glaciers in the 21st century. At 9:00 on 28 September there will be a talk by the MRI’s Carolina Adler on Introduction; Perspective of the Mountain Research Initiative.
