Scope of the Workshop
This workshop aims to bring together global glacier modelers, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
The focus will be on modelling glaciers on a global scale (or regional, i.e. covering at least one entire region of the Randolph Glacier Inventory (RGI).
- Participants will have the opportunity to present their research through oral presentations or posters.
- The agenda will be designed to allow ample time for networking and in-depth discussions, fostering connections and collaboration.
- A Zoom link will be sent to registered online-only participants, but Zoom attendees will not be able to present.
GlacierMIP meeting
An (open) business meeting of the Global Glacier Modeling Intercomparison Project (GlacierMIP), a Targeted Activity of the Climate and Cryosphere Project (CliC) will be held on 12 February 2025, where we will discuss the next phase of GlacierMIP.
Anybody interested in large-scale glacier modelling is welcome to attend the meeting. Zoom attendance will be possible. A fourth day (13 Feb) is reserved for direct collaboration discussions/meetings.
