As a follow-up to the Innsbruck IMC workshop, the Mountain Resilience Working Group organises a gathering to advance the review paper writing and to jointly prototype the “systemic innovation seeds” as the envisioned flexible toolset of the Mountain Resilience Report to come.
In the first part of this workshop, the group will work on a review paper for the IPCC AR6. In the second part of the workshop, we will prototype a more diverse kind of collaboration with a designer, a programmer and local people to join the scientists for designing tools to support resilience of mountain commputies around the world.
Dates and Place
April 16-18th 2020, MonViso Institute in the community of Ostana, Po Valley, near Turin.
Program
Day 1: Paper writing
Day 2: Design workshop
Day 3: Joint outdoor activity with break-out groups (skiing, hiking,…) and a final conclusion session after lunch
Travel Arrangements
Each participant organizes his/her arrival and departure to/from Turin. Turin to and from Ostana will be organized by a taxi service.
