Transnational cooperation funded by Interreg makes European regions and cities better places to live and work. To achieve this, Interreg programmes are supporting hundreds of transnational projects to work together on shared challenges.
But what will the future of our funding look like? Political discussions about the future of Cohesion policy and Interreg have already started last year. In this process, European, national, and regional policy makers are curious to hear about the needs and wishes of cooperation stakeholders on the ground.
With this survey, Interreg is supporting a Europe-wide effort that is coordinated by the European Commission. Your inputs to this survey will directly inform the position of the policy makers, who are responsible for coming up with concrete policy proposals in spring 2025.
The MRI encourages the research community to be part of this consultation and help shape the future of transnational cooperation after 2027.
