In January 2018, the Global Mountain Biodiversity Assessment (GMBA) launched the project 'Toward Biodiversity-Related Opportunities for Sustainable Development - A Global Social-Ecological Mountain Comparison.' The aim of this project is to perform a first assessment of the state of, trends in, and relationship between biodiversity, ecosystem services, and human well-being in the world's mountains.

For this global assessment, analyses will be performed at the level of mountain ranges or sub-ranges. Accordingly, the GMBA is asking for a broad picture of the mountain area you study or work in, its nature, and the well-being of its inhabitants. The questionnaire includes questions related to both natural and social sciences, and should take around 40 minutes to complete.

The deadline for responses is 15 June 2018.

Please visit the GMBA website for more information, or click here to complete the survey now.
