We invite applications for a postdoctoral research position to study landslide and glacier based geohazards in High Mountain Asia.  A successful candidate is expected to study and model the dynamics of these high mountain glacial and hydrology based hazards using remote sensing datasets (optical/radar/ICESat) and develop tools for integrating remote sensing data and model outputs. This position provides an opportunity to grow your skillset and also allows you to bring new skills and unique methods to study the impact of climate change on this region. Expertise in machine learning techniques and coding experience is not required but strongly preferred. The appointment will be for 1 year, with continuation pending funding and progress. The position is eligible for benefits.

Position open until filled.
