An award-winning online scheme providing people with training and knowledge about the special qualities of areas in Wales is urging more people to get involved and become an Ambassador during Wales Tourism Week, happening 15-21 May 2023.
Llysgennad Eryri has been developed for the local tourism industry in Wales, but offers high-quality training to anyone who wishes to learn more about what makes the Snowdonia National Park (Eryri) exceptional. From historic landscapes to the vibrancy of the Welsh language, the online training programme will offer something for everyone. The aim is for the information to be shared widely, encouraging a fuller understanding of the entire area.
Under the North Wales Ambassador Scheme banner, the Llysgennad Eryri Ambassador programme includes 12 online training modules that reflect the National Park’s Special Qualities. The modules vary from original work to factual content, much of which has been contributed by local experts across the region.
