The Sustainability Research and Innovation Congress will be held in Stellenbosch, Cape Town, South Africa, from 22 to 26 June 2026.

The theme of SRI2026 is ‘From Research to Action: Innovation for a Sustainable Africa.’

This five-day gathering will bring together early-career and established researchers, research managers, policymakers, practitioners, industry experts, and partners to bridge knowledge and impact. Attendees will explore Africa’s sustainability opportunities and challenges, share actionable solutions from research and pilot projects, and strengthen collaborations across the continent.
