Within the framework of the International Year for the Conservation of Glaciers and the Decade of Action for Cryospheric Sciences, the World Network of Mountain Biosphere Reserves is pleased to present the third session of its ‘Glacier Talks’, a series of conversations linked to knowledge about glaciers, their management, and their connection with human communities in a context of climate change and global retreat.
On this occasion, the session will focus on Glacier’s Conservation and Adaptation Policies, with a special emphasis on the different strategies that are being carried out in UNESCO Heritage Sites and Biosphere Reserves.
The session will be interpreted into English, Chinese and Spanish.
