ClimbAID, Switzerland (flexible, partly remote).
ClimbAID is a a Swiss non-profit organisation that promotes social participation, inclusion, and community through climbing and bouldering. It currently supports 18 local groups across Switzerland and Germany, bringing together volunteers and participants from diverse backgrounds.
ClimbAID is currently looking for someone to support a portfolio of local ClimbAID groups and help ensure they remain active, sustainable, and well-organised. The role focuses on supporting local coordinators, maintaining good data quality and reporting, assisting with local fundraising and administration, and helping groups recruit and retain volunteers.
Responsibilities
Group Support & Quality (approx. 50%)
- Main contact person for assigned groups and coordinators
- Support groups with organisational and operational challenges
- Help ensure good data quality, reporting, and documentation
- Support the implementation of ClimbAID policies, standards, and processes
- Identify challenges early and support groups in finding solutions
- Maintain relationships with partner climbing gyms and key stakeholders
- Visit assigned groups on occasion (typically 1-2 times per year)
Local Fundraising & Administration (approx. 30%)
- Support local fundraising activities and funding applications
- Assist with donor reports and grant administration
- Support the management and reconciliation of local budgets
- Help identify local funding opportunities
Communication & Visibility (approx. 20%)
- Support volunteer recruitment efforts
- Assist groups with flyers and information materials
- Collect photos, stories, and updates from local activities
- Contribute to website, newsletter, and social media content
Your Profile
- Reliable and highly organised
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 and digital collaboration tools
- Ability to use AI tools effectively and critically
- Willingness to support and accompany volunteers in a constructive and solution-oriented way
Experience as a ClimbAID volunteer or coordinator is a strong advantage.
