This webinar aims to introduce TEAMx to the wider community and establish links between TEAMx research in mountain meteorology and related disciplines. We also encourage the MRI community – in particular those contributing to the MRI Working Group on Elevation Dependent Climate Change – to participate and foster links for exchange and collaboration.
Each speaker should present on the issues related to mountain meteorology in their field. In particular, what knowledge or capabilities are currently lacking and what would be needed from TEAMx? For example, which atmospheric processes (investigated in TEAMx) are crucial? Which variables need to be measured or simulated, and at what accuracy or spatiotemporal resolution? Which processes are particularly poorly understood and how are these hindering predictive capabilities?
