The Unit Economic Geography in the Institute of Geography at the University of Bern is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the team.
The successful candidate is expected to develop and conduct high-quality research, to integrate in the research group and to contribute to teaching and supervision at the bachelor and master levels. A dedicated budget is available for fieldwork expenses and for travel to reputable international conferences.
The work of the Unit Economic Geography focuses on research in the areas of regional development and sustainability, entrepreneurship and (social) innovation, structural changes in urban as well as rural and mountainous regions, diverse economies and postgrowth.
