The IAHS HELPING webinar series Droughts in Mountain Regions Worldwide: Impact of Droughts continues with a session exploring the science-policy interface and how mountain research can achieve impact beyond academia.

On 8 October 2026, MRI Executive Director Dr Carolina Adler will represent the Mountain Research Initiative in a webinar entitled “Impact Beyond Academia: Engaging on Mountain Issues at the Science-Policy Interface.” The session will explore how researchers and research networks can strengthen connections between scientific knowledge, policy processes, and action on mountain issues.

The webinar takes place online on Thursday, 8 October 2026 at 11:00 (CEST), and is organised as part of the IAHS HELPING initiative.
