MRI Expert Database Enhancements
Since the early 2000s, the MRI Expert Database has served as a valuable tool for connection and collaboration within the mountain research community. It encompasses thousands of profiles of individuals engaged in mountain research, management, governmental and non-governmental institutions, as well as the private sector.
Building on our strong foundation, the MRI Coordination Office has upgraded systems and made enhancements to the MRI Expert Database. It offers a new interface, a backend upgrade, improved features, and adheres to all necessary data privacy standards.
The MRI Expert Database now features:
- Improved User Experience: Enjoy a smoother interface, simplified navigation, and easier updates/personalization options.
- Enhanced Search: Find what you need more easily with expanded search options and flexible parameters.
- Member Map Integration: Explore the integrated member map to connect with other experts in your area or area of work.
- ORCID Integration: Seamlessly connect your ORCID profile, save time and ensure accurate information in the database.
- Backend Upgrade: Behind the scenes, we’ve implemented a significant upgrade to our backend system, including the latest version of the database, ensuring enhanced performance and reliability.
